A Grevy's Zebra, the world’s rarest species that only exists in the northern part of Kenya, and Ethiopia, looks on, amid an on-going drought in Samburu National Reserve, Samburu county, on November 4, 2022. The intense drought in the region has brought a high number of casualties among the Grevy zebras as the local NGO Grevy’s Zebra Trust reports fifty-eight deaths out of a population of about 2800 in Kenya since June.
