A Romanian policeman has his legs tied with a heavy chain during a rally held in front of the Romanian Parliament headquarters in Bucharest, Romania, 02 February 2022. About 1,500 policemen, prison guards and retired defense system employees from all over the country, gathered by fourteen trade union organizations, including Europol, joined a protest demanding the government to comply with the law on the remuneration of staff paid from public funds. Protesters marched through the center of Romania's capital asking for their risk supplementary payment and full pensions, demanding better working conditions and the employment of additional staff for solving specific tasks in a timely manner.
