In the Andean region of Bolivia, carnival activities come to an end with the burial of Pepino, a typical and main character of the carnival, where hundreds of people, including women, children and others, simulate a procession that is in charge of carrying the Pepino to its coffin. After that, hundreds of dancers known as Chutas dance in the company of women dressed as Chola and Pepinos in the surroundings of the general cemetery and in this way the carnival ends until the following year.
