Aerial view of the Chacarita cemetery in Buenos Aires, taken on April 11, 2023. The Chacarita cemetery has an area of about 95 hectares, making it the largest in the city and one of the largest in the world. The work of the Italian engineer and architect Juan Antonio Buschiazzo was inaugurated in 1886. The family mausoleums of different architectural styles stand out, responding to the idea of the “family's last resting place” typical of the funerary culture of the late 19th and mid-20th centuries. Here are the funeral remains of various personalities from Argentine history. (Photo by Luis Robayo/AFP Photo)
