A Fin Whale – the second-largest mammal in the world – washed up at Baile Uí Chuill Strand, Ballinskelligs, Co Kerry, Ireland on July 9, 2023. The Fin Whale is 22 metres weighing about 60 tonnes. According to members of the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group who visited the mammal on Sunday, is suspected of dying around 3 weeks before being washed up on the strand at the weekend.
