A yellow diamond weighing over 300 carats was unveiled today at Sotheby’s Dubai, pictured with Katia Nounou Boueiz, Head of Sotheby’s UAE on October 17, 2022 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Golden Canary is one of the largest polished diamonds in the world and, at 303.10 Carats, it is the largest flawless or internally flawless diamond ever graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The diamond will be auctioned at Sotheby’s New York on 7 December, with an estimate in the region of $15 million. It goes on public view in Dubai from today until 19 October, alongside rare luxury items including unique embellished Hermès handbags by Jay Ahr never showcased before in the Middle East, contemporary photographs by Lalla Essaydi and Youssef Nabil and the latest jewelery collection from Gaelle Khouri.
