Rare sighting on a mild Christmas Day of Bohemian Waxwing birds (Bombycilla Garrulus) in Balham, south London as one of a flock of 13 feed on berries from a Pink Pagoda or the ornamental Pink Rowan -Sorbus hupehensis in a front garden in Balham, near Wandsworth Common, London, United Kingdom, 25th December 2023. The Waxwings have migrated across from Scandinavia due to a shortage of food there and were sighted in Glasgow, Scotland feeding on berries before moving south.
