This photograph taken at the Bourse de Commerce – Collection Pinault in Paris on March 13, 2024, shows part of the work of Chinese artists Sun Yuan and Peng Yuin composed of 13 automatic wheelchairs carry sculpted, hyper-realistic, life-size old men, forming a macabre choreography, on display during a press preview. Entitled “Le monde comme il va” (“The world as it is”), the exhibition runs until September 2024, and features “around sixty works from this private collection, which comprises more than 10,000 works, brought together in their relationship to the present and current events, with artists who react and whose works provoke reactions”, curator Jean-Marie Gallais told AFP.
