California sea lions rest on San Francisco Pier 39’s K dock as tourists and locals observe them in San Francisco, California, USA, 06 June 2024. Over 1000 sea lions have return to iconic SF Pier 39, the highest number in 15 years. The sea lions started to arrive in the late 1990 helping boost the tourism and local economy.
