The Madrid City Council has kicked off the patron saint festivities of San Isidro 2023 with the traditional proclamation from the main balcony of La Casa de la Villa in Madrid in Plaza de la Villa. Before the proclamations, people were able to enjoy a parade of giants and big heads. The person in charge this year of giving the proclamation has been Ramoncín, a singer born in the city.
