Animals last Weeks

A newborn Green Sea Turtle hatchling attempts to find its way to the ocean after hatching on February 02, 2025 in Heron Island, Australia. Each year between November and March, Green Sea Turtles emerge from the ocean to lay hundreds of eggs each on the coastline of Heron Island, before returning to the ocean. The hatchlings emerge around 6 weeks later and then have to survive a series of predators ranging from Sea Gulls to Reef Sharks, resulting in an estimated surival rate of one in 1,000.
