Maxine Waters) when the marchers stopped on the bridge to remember marchers and John Lewis who took part in the Bloody Sunday event 60 years ago. The 60th anniversary march on Edmund Pettus Bridge iin Selma, Alabama was held today, Sunday, March 09, 2025. Selma is the site of the 2025 Bridge Crossing Jubilee which commemorates the 60th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, the Selma to Montgomery March and the signing of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
