The picture taken on March 6, 2025 shows a Barn Owl near Felixstowe Docks in Suffolk, taken from Levington Lagoon. Barn Owls are widely distributed across the UK but suffered decline during the 20th century due to pesticide use. Numbers have now recovered and may now exceed 10,000 breeding pairs.
