Members of the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden's care team hold a three-months-old tiger that was seized by the police to examine and vaccinate the animal at the zoo's clinic in Budapest, Hungary, on December 8, 2025. The police came across the illegally kept small animal during a drug-related investigation. The tiger cub was temporarily placed in a nature conservation rescue center that also functions as a quarantine station within the Zoo. It is expected that it will receive a permanent home in 2026 in the place created for it, next to the bear home in Veresegyhz, north of Budapest. (Photo by Attila Kisbenedek/AFP via Getty Images)
