Yahya Akhzeiq, 27-years-old, connects a mobile phone to a charger as he sits in a converted Israeli military vehicle abandoned by the Israeli army and now used by the mainly displaced Palestinian communities as a charging point for mobiles and laptops, in Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, in the southern part of Gaza City on November 29, 2025. Brothers Yahya and Akram Akhzeiq, have set-up a charging point using solar-energy panels placed on the exterior the vehicle's hull, which sits under the concreate of a destroyed building. The majority of Gaza's 2.4 million people have been displaced, often multiple times, by the war that began with Hamas's attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023.
