“The Basket Maker”. Bernie Winters is pictured in his traditional cottage. He is the last traditional Straw basket maker on Clare Island, County Mayo, West Coast Of Ireland. Rushes,Willow and straw are three materials that have been fundamental to Irish people from earliest times.
