Tasiilaq Greenland

Tasiilaq, formerly Ammassalik and Angmagssalik, is a town in the Sermersooq municipality in southeastern Greenland. With 1,930 inhabitants as of 2010, it is the most populous community on the eastern coast, and the seventh-largest town in Greenland. The Sermilik Station, dedicated to the research of the nearby Mittivakkat Glacier, is located near the town.

With a shower of colorful petals suspended form the ceiling, Galeria Melissa unveils the ‘We Are Flower’ installation by SOFTlab. The team at SOFTlab used over 20,000 translucent multicolored petals to create a large immersive hanging surface in the New York flagship.

Apocalyptic Metropolises by Daniel Del Nero

Italian artist Daniel Del Nero created this aerily beautiful series of architectural scale models, that he constructed with black paper, and covered with flour and a layer of mold. The effect is that of peering into the distant future, long after the extinction of humanity itself.
