The chariot of God Bhairab is pulled through the city centre of Bhaktapur near Kathmandu during the Bisket festival April 10, 2015. The festival, which runs for more than a week and coincides with the Nepalese New Year, involves devotees offering prayers and the pulling of two chariots, one carrying the idol of God Bhairab and the other with the idol of Goddess Bhadrakali, around the ancient city of Bhaktapur. Nithin Rao Kumblekar, a freelance illustrator and art director based in Bangalore, India, created these illustrations for an ad campaign by Ogilvy & Mather for ‘in store’ branding for Allen Solly clothing. The idea of the project was to blend each illustration in with a model(s) / photograph to express the theme “My world, My way“.

British designer Alex Chinneck created the installation - called From the Knees of my Nose to the Belly of my Toes - by removing the facade of a detached four-storey house that had been derelict for eleven years and replacing it with a brand new frontage that leaves the crumbling top storey exposed, then curves outwards so the bottom section lies flat in front of the house.
