Raising a flag over the Reichstag is a historic World War II photograph taken during the Battle of Berlin on 2 May 1945, by Yevgeny Khaldei.

The black and white snaps were painstakingly restored and colourised by photographer Mario Unger (53) from Rotenturm, Austria. If I am ever in that part of the world, I will definitely be staying in that room, even if I am not a huge Batman fan.
