Bristol Museum & Art Gallery representatives on Monday, June 23, 2025 hold an empty frame against Avon Gorge in Bristol, which was painted by JMW Turner in The Rising Squall, Hot Wells, from St Vincent's Rock, Bristol (1792). A fundraising campaign has been launched to bring one of the earliest works by Turner back to the city of Bristol where the artist painted it when he was 17 years old. These stunning images have captured UFO type clouds forming around world famous volcano. The Kamchatka peninsula contains the volcanoes of Kamchatka, which have been captured in a series of stunning shots by photographer Vladimir Voychuk, 37, from Klin, Russia. Joseph Ford is a 39-year-old photographer from Brighton, UK. He creates images seamlessly camouflaging people into backgrounds using knitwear made by Nina Dodd. It can take Dodd, 51, up to 40 hours to knit one item of clothing. This image of a man posing in knitwear, camouflaging into tiles of the steps and wall, is a personal favourite of Joseph’s. Whenever we don’t have enough magic in our real life, we try to create it using our imagination. The cute characters created by Belgian illustrator Marie Breuer allow us to see the mystical world that resides within her mind. It is dark and adorable, enchanting and solemn. The thing that separates her drawings from the rest is the vivid colors and the bizarre huge, anime-like heads of her characters. The pictures that we liked the most were the ones where her characters wear different living animals like cloaks, with the mood of the characters being closely linked to the animal that they are wearing.
