Every once and a while an artistic endeavor is so bold, so courageous and so innovative we are left speechless in its wake. Today, that project is “Pizza in the Wild”. The brainchild of Los Angeles-based photographer Jonpaul Douglass, the Instagram series that is so much more follows unsupervised pizzas – pepperoni pizzas, to be exact – living the L.A. life.

A canine-crazy photographer helped make his dog healthy after seeing him raid the fridge by posing him up with fruit. Scott Cromwell, 43, from Oklahoma City, caught faithful mutt Winston guzzling hot dogs after he looted the refrigerator. Born 1938 in New York, Melvin Sokolsky was a major figure in the revival of fashion photography from the 1960s. He was only 21 when he started working at Harper's Bazaar for which he produced the “Bubble” series of photographs depicting fashion models floating in giant clear plastic bubbles suspended in midair above the Seine river in Paris. Alongside his steady collaboration with Bazaar, he also worked for publications such as Vogue and the New York Times.
