Photographer’s Pol Ubeda Hervas perspective in his “I’m not There” series, is going against the flow. While the focus of modern photography is set on the human interaction with his surroundings, Hervas changes thing up by capturing the human absence from said surroundings. The concept behind the series is deeply metaphorical, visual food for though reflecting the situations where the change is irreversible and we cannot even recognize ourselves.

If you want to be Dart Vader, you will have to deal with his everyday problems, too. That’s what Paweł Kadysz is doing with his new photo project. He aims to take a picture every day for a year – and each one of them should show the Dark Lord of the Sith tackling everyday life. Washing dishes, ironing clothes, eating breakfast – all those little things that heroes do off screen.

Rush-hour in Russia means one thing for this daredevil: train surfing! The 19-year-old daredevil who goes by the name Kobzarro started train surfing aged 15 as a way of escaping an oppressive family life. Here Kobzarro can be seen balanced on top of a train as it speeds through the wintery Russian environment. Kobzarro is so dedicated to train surfing that she rarely gets inside a train. Even in winter she prefers to travel in this less conventional way. It has resulted in a few run ins with the law, but Kobzarro says it has never resulted in anything more serious than a fine, with many police officers even being interested in the train surfing community. This is the cutest thing that has ever happened: Someone put a baby in watermelon shorts. We stumbled across these photos of this adorable tot inside a watermelon on Weibo, and we're pretty sure whoever snapped these puppies is a total genius (though we're not exactly sure where they're from). How this new trend got started is still a little unclear, but we have to say, it looks incredibly refreshing (and we bet it's moisturizing, too).

In one of the best collaborations this blog has seen in ages, professional illustrator Mica Angela Hendricks has been collaborating with her 4-year-old daughter on a series of wonderful drawings that pass back and forther between mother and daugher until reaching an always unexpected final form. Each drawing begins with Hendricks drawing a detailed retro-ish head, after which her daughter snatches away the sketchbook to create rudimentary body (or animal!) parts as well as other random details. Afterward Hendricks goes back in to polish things up a bit and behold: dinosaur women, slug ladies, and beaver astronauts are born.
