Tiger-stone allows you to build 400 yards of road a day using cobblestone. This doesn’t automatically sort, cut and arrange the bricks in patterns. It just lays them. Someone needs to put the right bricks in the right places at the top.

“Lofoten Glow”. I was desperately searching a good sunrise spot this particular morning. Normally Storvatnet Lake is completely covered in snow, so you can only imagine my surprise when I saw these crazy ice formations almost being shot out of the frozen lake. I put my crampons on and took a big risk walking out. I could hear the ice cracking underneath my feet, and when you’re all alone in a fjord/canyon like this – the cracks are echoed and sound really frightening. Was it worth it? I sure think so! My backyard squirrels are so entertaining that this set gradually emerged and has given me so much fun. Most recent ones are of "Mr. Peanuts" who lives on the left of my backyard. Mrs P. lives in ten neighbours backyard. Making props, or buying cheapy things to use as props is just as fun. Mr. Peanuts will explore and examine them in his search for peanuts and with somepatience and time I usually manage to get several shots I like. I sure hop nothing ever happens to them because I have grown so fond of them. Thanks for looking and hope they give you as many smiles as they give me.

He has been a graphic designer, 3d artist, photo-retoucher as well as illustrator. One thing is for sure, Brian Despain makes one amazing fine artist. This piece started as a post-it note and then ended up this dynamic piece after much work, apparently he thought it looked too much like Plankton from Spongebob Squarepants. Brian is currently in a group show at Roq La Rue in Seattle. The print is signed and numbered in an edition of 30. There are two other prints available as well just in case you another one of them hits you better.
