“The series of photos called Workwears, by French photographer Bruno Fert, visually juxtaposes people’s private lives with their lives at work. A firefighter, a fisherman, a nurse, a diver, a judge. One by one, Fert’s photos show people in their homes wearing everyday clothing – followed by another photo showing them dressed in the clothing of their chosen professions. One day photographer Jimmy Hickey decided to do a photo project capturing “money problems personified”, so he withdraw everything from his bank account in one dollar bills and created a money suit. The resulting project is titled “What Have We Done?”.

Photographer Wes Naman has created portraits of his friends using Scotch Tape to distort their features. The results are similar to Scottish artist Douglas Gordon's 1997 work, Monster, but Wes says he originally got the idea after applying tape to himself to test a lighting rig set-up. With a shower of colorful petals suspended form the ceiling, Galeria Melissa unveils the ‘We Are Flower’ installation by SOFTlab. The team at SOFTlab used over 20,000 translucent multicolored petals to create a large immersive hanging surface in the New York flagship.
