Jacek Yerka is an amazing painter from Poland. His subject matter ranges from odd beasts to whimsical landscapes incorporating extraordinary architecture, and includes imagery gleaned from his childhood. I handpicked a few of his pieces so we can take a close look at his world of painting.

When you first see the art works created by a Thai metalworker Ban Hun Lek, you are completely stunned by the level of detail of the metal sculptures that he creates. One of his most prominent creations is a full sized sculpture of a Hulk. The fact that this sculpture was created practically solely out of steel nuts adds to the rugged feeling of force that emanates from this creation. And if you think that this creation is amazing, you should look at his other works such as the Ganesha – the god of wisdom, knowledge and new beginnings, or the Predator. A replica model of a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 in Dubai, UAE. This is the world's most expensive model car, made from carbon fibre and covered in a thin layer of pure gold. The 1:8 scale replica Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, designed by German engineer Robert Gülpen, is available to buy for £200,000. But amazingly this model – currently on display at the Lamborghini showroom in Dubai – is just a prototype for a solid gold model, which will go up for auction in 2014 with a price tag of £4.6 million.
