Every year National Parks Week gives visitors a chance to celebrate the incredible woodland spaces around the UK. This year the National Parks Week runs from 28 July – 3 August and there are 10 national parks across England to explore. Each one has created a special event to celebrate the National Parks Week, from picnics and treasure hunt in the park to cycle rides, safari or outdoor art exhibition. Divorce is not traditionally a reason to party, but these hilarious cakes provide a fun and humorous way to celebrate new beginnings. London-based baker Fay Millar started creating and selling the fun confections to meet the growing trend for break-up parties. She says that inquiries about her cakes come mainly from ex-wives who want to celebrate the divorce with their friends.

These stunning images reveal the remains of a more than century-old sunken ship that has been preserved beneath freezing Lake Superior. The ship looks almost exactly the same as it did the day it sunk beneath waves all those years ago. At 60 meters long (approximately 198 feet), the «Gunilda» sunk after it struck some rocks and was not saved.
