Wow Skeletal Creatures Carved from Everyday Objects by Maskull Lasserre

The sculptures of Montreal-based Maskull Lasserre address structures of authority, class and value in nostalgic, allegorical and humourous ways. Oracle, an anatomically correct jaw carved into the corner of a picture frame, is a delicate yet slightly sinister imposition on an everyday object. Lasserre has exhibited throughout Canada, and at the New York Museum of Arts and Design. He completed his MFA at Concordia University.

Touching London 2012 Medals Being Produced By Royal Mint

Production begins on the London 2012 victory medals at the Royal Mint on October 27, 2011 in Pontyclun, Wales. A total of 4700 medals will be made, split between the Olympics and Paralympics. Charming Waterdrop Sculptures by Josh Fancher

“I'm Josh Fancher, a 21 year old with an avid interest in photography, including macro, nature and wildlife, night photography, landscapes, cityscapes and architectural photography. Inspired by the beautiful and amazing water drop photography of Martin Waugh, I started doing water drop collisions in December of 2007. I use a 105mm Micro Nikkor lens for water drops, along with a pair of Nikon SB 600 flashes. I recently got a StopShot system (Nov 2009), which makes timing a lot easier.
