Under Exposed: Pekka Tuuri (Finland) – Great white shark, Isla Guadalupe, Mexico. “Isla Guadalupe is the world capital when it comes to observing great white sharks, but cage diving seriously limits the possibilities to take ‘fresh’ pictures. When I took this, the water close to the surface was quite milky, making photography very challenging. From out of the “mist”, I saw this great white shark lurking behind a school of fusiliers. I quickly focused on the shark and set a wide aperture to get focus blur on the fish, along with a fast shutter to avoid excessive motion blur”. Funny Fruit Ninja In Real Life To Dubstep!

The parody of the video game uploaded last week is, of course, going viral as we speak reaching upwards of a million views in a little as six days. It's not even the first Fruit Ninja parody, but somehow this one resonates with it's simple formula: take a guy with a samurai sword, throw fruit at him and watch him slice them in half in slow motion. When he misses, make sure some fruit hits him right in the kisser. Gallagher ain't got nothing on this.

Charming Landscapes Carved Out of Books by Guy Laramee

“So I carve landscapes out of books and I paint Romantic landscapes”, says interdisciplinary artist Guy Laramee who, in the course of his 30 years of practice, found his way through such varied and numerous disciplines as : stage writing, stage directing, contemporary music writing, musical instrument design and building, singing, video, scenography, sculpture, installation, painting and literature. Laramee uses books that are slowly falling apart, such as old encyclopedias and dictionaries to create dramatic landscapes.

Wow Finnjet Car is Crafted Completed from Junk

The 29-foot long limousine will surely amaze you not because of its price but because of its junk made body. The vehicle has been named as Finnijet and is owned by a 72 years old chauffeur named Antti Rahko from Finland. It took him almost 10 years to complete the vehicle. He began work by assembling two Mercedes Benz station wagons along with various other parts from different vehicles including Chrysler Imperial 1962.

Wow Artist Destroys Apple Products

Artist Michael Tompert, a former graphic designer at Apple, is putting on an exhibition showing Apple products which he has destroyed in various ways – burned with blowtorches, smashed with sledgehammers, chopped up with handsaws or shot with a handgun.

The results are then photographed in the typically fetishistic style of Tompert’s former employer, all close-up and against a plain white background.

Presumably the image editing was done elsewhere, what with all his own gear being smashed up all over the studio and all.

Fact Hong Kong by Michael Wolf

The focus of the german photographer michael wolf's work is life in mega cities. Many of his projects document the architecture and the vernacular culture of metropolises. Wolf grew up in Canada, Europe and the United States, studying at UC Berkeley and at the Folkwang School with Otto Steinert in Essen, Germany. He moved to Hong Kong in 1994 where he worked for 8 years as contract photographer for Stern magazine. Since 2001, Wolf has been focusing on his own projects, many of which have been published as books.
