Portrait Drawings Of Winnie Truong

Winnie Truong was born in Toronto, where she still lives, and received her BFA in painting and drawing from Ontario College of Art and Design.

Using pencil, crayon, and chalk pastel on giant sheets of paper, Truong creates portraits with great detail. Her aim is to explore notions of beauty and discomfort and, inspired by science fiction, she portrays hair in all its ‘whiskery, wispy, curly, bristly’ brilliance.

With their affinity for hunting, sneaking, and hidden blade-like retractable claw, cats are really the assassins of the animal world. They're not as intimidating when they're kittens dressed up as assassins from the upcoming Assassin's Creed Unity, but what they lack in deadliness they more than make up for in cuteness. YouTube user Mr.TVCow posted the video, in which four hooded kittens hunt down a french soldier, much like like in a number of trailers for Assassin's Creed Unity. They use their eagle vision ability, parkour after their target, and perform lethal aerial assassinations, and yes, it's as unbearably adorable as it sounds.

Camp You Are You

"Camp You Are You (whose name has been changed to protect the privacy of the participants) offers a temporary safe haven where gender-variant boys can freely express their interpretations of femininity alongside their parents and siblings. These images represent the spirit of the children as they shine in an atmoshpere of support. Here they can be true to their inner nature without feeling the need to look over their shoulders." Mud Makes Man By Alejandro Maestre Gasteazi

31-year-old Alejandro Maestre Gasteazi has created an incredibly interesting photographic series about the struggle of an artist. First, though, you may be asking yourself these questions: Exactly, what are we looking at? How did the photographer achieve this strange, sculpture-like illusion?

Gasteazi asked his friend Julián to cover himself with a mixture of blue paint and mud. He then photographed Julián at various stages. Later, in Photoshop, Gasteazi cut around his subject's body to make him appear like a floating sculpture.
