The STRP mutants were designed by Bart Hess together with Heyheyhey for the 2011 STRP Art & Technology Festival campaign. The mutants evolved around the idea of transformation. They visualize movement and the ever changing boundaries between the different disciplines: art, music and technology.

The Inception Chair, as the name suggests was inspired by the movie Inception, and it is the work of RSID student Vivian Chiu, and it is actually a series of ten different sized interlocking chairs that can be put together to make one chair. The Inception Chair is designed to mimic the dream within a dream concept from the Inception movie, and the chair is made from ash and it measures 16 inches by 16 inches by 32 inches.

Polish artist Agnieszka Pilat poses with the artwork of her robot painting dogs – Basia Spot and Bunny Spot – who have become artists painting on canvases with their paws, at the launch of the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) Triennial 2023 in Melbourne on April 5, 2023. The sirens Charybdis and Scylla resided in the Sicilian Sea. Homer tells us that because Charybdis had stolen the oxen of Hercules, Zeus struck her with a thunderbolt and changed her into a whirlpool whose vortex swallowed up ships. In Charybdis the circular movement of water inside a transparent acrylic cylinder forms an air-core vortex in the centre. Steps wrap around the cylinder and allow spectators to view the vortex from above. The cylinder was manufactured in Grand Junction, Colorado.
