Jirka Väätäinen is a Finnish artist from Melbourne and he recently reimagined some of Disney's most famous princes. He took these iconic characters and made them look like real people.

The Perth-based photographer and journalist Frances Andrijich has travelled the Western Australian coast since the early 90s, capturing clotheslines in all their glory. In her images they take the roles of play equipment, Christmas trees and, in the summer, a homemaker’s dream. Andrijich admits she is hopelessly hung up on clotheslines; her latest book celebrates them under the spotlight of the Australian sun. The 26-foot-tall “Forever Marilyn” statue, was hoisted by crane early this morning in downtown Palm Springs, California on February 25, 2025. This larger-than-life tribute to Monroe's iconic pose from “The Seven Year Itch” is being moved to resolve ongoing legal disputes over its placement.
