Two daredevil photographers have risked their lives to become the first people to capture the explosive moment fiery lava crashes into the sea – while in the water themselves. Fearless duo Nick Selway, 28, and pal CJ Kale, 35, brave baking hot 110F (43,3C) waters to snap the amazing images – standing just feet away from scalding heat and floating lava bombs. Using a simple protective casing around their cameras, and donning just swimming shorts and flippers, they bob up and down with the water as the surf washes over their heads. These are incredible pictures of skilled aircraft pilots flying through raging infernos to put out enormous flames. Daredevil Italian photographer Antonio Grambone, 46, jumped up close to the blaze to capture the incredible images of forest fires in the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano, in the province of Salerno in Italy. At great risk to himself, Antonio captured these incredible shots making them appear like Italian masterpieces.

This might quite simply be the oddest skydive youll ever see – as a pair of daredevils simulate a rodeo ride as they hurtle towards earth. In the bizarre pictures, skydiver Robyn Young managed to straddle co-jumper Oliver Miller, as they plummet through the sky – and amazingly, pal Jeff Donohue caught it all on camera. The pair managed to perform the stunt before going their separate ways and pulling their parachute cords during the skydive over recibo, Puerto Rico, last month. German artist Robert Rickhoff re-interprets the idea of public space with humor through a series of digitally manipulated photographs in a project entitled “out of place”. Rickhoff augments scenes within a seemingly commonplace environment to depict impractical yet lighthearted situations – including a playground slippery dip facing towards a busy road to a speed bump placed in an unassuming residential street that is actually a daredevil ramp. the visualizations are subtle yet provocative, forcing the audience to look twice to notice the unusual setting infused with tongue-in-cheek wit.

Oh, those daredevils! They’re always willing to pull off another incredible stunt to gain fame and glory. Sometimes it’s something incredibly stupid, but sometimes it is simply incredible. The stunt that you can see on this video is of the latter kind. Who would have thought of attaching a jet engine to a bicycle? And who would have dared riding one? Circuit Paul Ricard, that’s who. On November 7 2014 he reached a whooping speed of 333 hm/h (207 mph) on his bicycle. Now that is a tale to tell your grandchildren… if you ever live long enough to see them with a lifestyle such as this.

Daredevil Christopher Gillette writhes around with a huge alligator he has saved from death. He works at a Florida sanctuary that rescues the wild beasts if they stroll into neighbourhoods where residents can legally kill them. A daredevil photographer is determined to capture London in a whole new light – by scaling the city’s many rooftops. Jacob Riglin, from Richmond Upon Thames, photographs the nation's capital from above – hanging from scaffolding, dangling his legs over the edge of buildings and looking down from perilous heights. Such images have gained the photographer, 20, an incredible fan base on Instagram, which has seen his follower count rise to more than 150,000.
