Minimiam is a project of the Japanese photographer Akiko Ida and French photographer Pierre Javelle. They met studying photography at the Paris “Arts Décoratifs” art school. The project has been ongoing since 2002 and was inspired by the married couple’s profession as commercial food photographers.

Scott Bisson of Quantum Creative Glass was first fascinated by the medium in high school chemistry class, at age seventeen. Since then, he has studied with five different masters, as well as at the world renowned Pilchuck School with Robert A. Mickelson, and has met and observed Dante Marioni, William Morris, and Peter Novotney.

A photographer tested the concentration of several pairs of dogs as he captured their reactions to treat time in a series of shots. Christian Vieler, 47, of Waltrop, Germany, has been a professional dog photographer since 2016. He came up with the idea of snapping two dogs catching treats simultaneously. Here: Basset Hounds.
