An amateur artist has created a series of hilarious images combining iconic film scenes with everyday locations all over the world. History teacher Francois Dourlen, from Cherbourg in France, has used stills of pop culture everything – from cult movies to old faithful TV favorites like The Simpsons and Baywatch, to new hits Minions – to bring this unique artwork to life. In his adorable series of images, photographer Andrius Burba takes a look at all kinds of furry and fantastic moggies – from underneath. From furry fluff-balls to hairless kitties, felines from all corners of the globe make up the creative photographer's latest project. Andrius, from Lithuania, created a technique whereby his camera is hidden in a Perspex box, that the cats are encouraged to walk across – resulting in some truly wonderful captures. IT'S a relatively simple idea – set up a mirror so you can capture the reflection of a dramatic landscape in a single photograph. Photographer Daniel Kukla, from New York, created a spectacular series of artworks called The Edge Effect using the technique. He clamped the mirror onto an easel and placed it in various settings in the Joshua Tree National Park, California.

Artist Amber Wheeler of Minneapolis, Minn., has given her 2-month-old boy just that. All she used was some Photoshop and well-timed photos. Using simple black lines – much like the ones in this series of cat Instagram portraits – Wheeler transformed her son into an astronaut, a superhero, and a cowboy without spending one dollar on costumes.
