Art director Stephen McMennamy puts photos together to create quirky images for his ongoing project “combophoto’s”. Whether it’s a seagull with an airplane tail or a pair of donut headphones, he jots down his inspirations for each piece on his tumblr. Ever since he got interested in photography through instagram in 2012, he also set up an extra account named @combophotofail, where he shares a look behind-the-scenes on how these images are produced.

As you look at the set of pictures created by Tom Kondrat during his travels in Iceland, the first thing that comes to mind is the word “loneliness.” These pictures lead you to believe that Iceland is a desolate expanse of icy wasteland. You can almost imagine the strong wind howling in your ears, as it chills you straight to the bone. And as you’re walking down so beaten path, you’re all alone, with not a human soul for miles in any direction. This may prove unbearable for some, yet others find comfort in such places. If life wasn’t exciting enough for these beautiful tortoises, they now get to wear a selection of fantastic knitted suits. They made a very slow sashay down the catwalk to showcase the talents of Katie Bradley. She has made cute woolly suits from 25 designs to transform the little animals into a shark, a lobster, a burrito, a burger, bumble bee and a birthday cake.

Ronda is a small Spanish town that it well known by many people around the world. It became a popular tourist destination due to its peculiar location. Some of its buildings are standing right next to the large cliff drop, making for a very scary sight, especially if you were to look down through one of their windows unaware of what kind of sight awaits you. If you ever find yourself looking for this ancient town, you can travel to it from Costa del Sol or Malaga. In the past, this town played a major strategic role due to its high elevation, which made defending it from invaders a lot easier.

Sprout A Pencil That Grows is a very simple but excellent concept. We all know that as soon as a pencil gets down to the point where there’s only an inch or so left it’s pretty much useless. The Sprout lets you put that little stub to get use. The end of the Sprout has a seed capsule that is water activated, after you plant your pencil and water it a few times the capsule dissolves and the seed’s start germinating. The plants usually take about a week to sprout. The Sprout pencils come in a number of varieties including vegetables, herbs and flowers like rosemary, tomato, marigold, and many more.
