Today we have Steve Payne, who created the Replaceface series, where Steve took digital copies of George Dawe’s paintings of russian generals and added celebrities faces to the portrait using photoshop. Ray Anthony Villafane - (March 5, 1969) is an multi-talented artist who is best known for his American Pop Culture sculpting abilities. He has also received nationwide recognition as a Master Pumpkin Sculptor on the Food Network's "Challenge" Show for sweeping all three rounds in their 2008 Show.
Sanctuary of Truth is a temple construction in Pattaya, Thailand. The sanctuary is an all-wood building filled with sculptures based on traditional Buddhist and Hindu motifs. The building is close to 105 meters (345 feet) high and covers an area of more than two rai. It features contemporary Visionary art based on traditional religious themes. The project was initiated as an idea of Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphant in 1981, and is scheduled to be complete in 2025.
For those who favour alternative fashion, Circa Nocturna is the one event that cannot be missed during the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. This year’s event was as unusual and infamously different as only Circa can be, however this was particularly significant as it marks the end of the traditional showcase of Australian subculture fashion, and will now be replaced with smaller boutique based previews throughout the year.
Ostankino Tower is a television and radio tower in Moscow, Russia. Standing 540.1 metres (1,772 ft) tall, Ostankino was designed by Nikolai Nikitin. It is currently the tallest freestanding structure in Europe and sixth tallest in the world. The tower was the first free-standing structure to exceed 500 m (1,600 ft) in height. Ostankino was built to mark the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. It is named after the Ostankino district of Moscow in which it is located.
Meet Meysi, a tiny Terrier crossbreed from Jarocin, Poland, who is is unwittingly vying for the title of World’s Smallest Living Dog. Meysi weighed just 1.58 ounces at her birth three months ago and her owner Anna Pohl wasn’t sure the cute puppy would survive.
