The mobile home “De Markies” was an entry in the “Temporary Living” competition 1985 and was conceived as a mobile home. Onthe road it measures 2.00 m by 4.50 m, and once it has arrived at its destination its floorspace can be increased threefold in a matter of seconds. “De Markies” was awarded the Public Prize at the Rotterdam Design Prize 1996. Fact Shetland Ponies In Sweaters

Shetland ponies wearing cardigan sweaters are the official ambassadors of Visit Scotland tourism campaign. Photographer Rob McDougall captured two cute ponies named Fivla and Vitamin dressed in traditional Fair Isle Scottish cardigans to celebrate the Year of Natural Scotland.Their onesies were made out of Shetland wool by a local knitter Doreen Brown. The ponies live at the Thordale Shetland Stud Centre.

Funny Portrait Drawings of Winnie Truong

Winnie Truong was born in Toronto, where she still lives, and received her BFA in painting and drawing from Ontario College of Art and Design.

Using pencil, crayon, and chalk pastel on giant sheets of paper, Truong creates portraits with great detail. Her aim is to explore notions of beauty and discomfort and, inspired by science fiction, she portrays hair in all its ‘whiskery, wispy, curly, bristly’ brilliance.
