My name is Jakub and I’m a painter, illustrator & concept artist who lives and work in Poland. My speciality is dark fantasy, character design, concept art and portrait. Since several years I work and paint digitally, but I never gave up traditional drawing and painting. For me the most important in my work, is create unique atmosphere and tell some kind of story through my creations.

The amazing images – captured by Australian tourist Julie Rathbone on the banks of the Zambezi river in Africa – show the pair engaging in a few fisticuffs. The Chacma baboons appeared to settle a disagreement by fighting – before a senior baboon plays referee and steps in to break it up. This sumatran orangutan named Kulsum was captured playing with a piece of broken bottle making a pair of makeshift sunglasses to ward off the sun in Jakarta, Indonesia in November 2022. Sumatran orangutans are critically endangered of the three orangutan species and are only found in the north of the Indonesian Island of Sumatra.
