The Shima Enaga, a small fluffy white bird which is often described as a “bouncy cotton ball” is native to Hokkaido. Hokkaido is a snowy country, so when it gets cold, many of the animals that live here become fluffy and cute. The striped long-tailed moth is also pure white and has very fluffy fur, making it very cute. In Japan, this figure is called the snow fairy. A brown bear cub named Linda stays atop a tree that she climbed more than 10 days ago and has been up there ever since at Kosice Zoo near Kavecany, Slovakia on December 21, 2023. The Kosice Zoo has a new addition since November - a brown bear cub named Linda. After being released in a separate breeding facility last Thursday (14 December), she climbed a tree and has been spending time there day and night ever since. Keepers attribute this to her shyness and distrust of humans and expect her to climb down on her own while monitoring her condition. The female bear, who is less than a year old, was brought to the zoo from the animal rescue station in Zazriva, Slovakia. It is an orphaned cub that had a bad experience before it came into the care of the caretakers. Linda is in a breeding facility, called a nursery, where the phase of getting to know the outside environment is underway. A new sound or a car passing nearby could startle her.
