Karacabey Agricultural Farm, which was established to meet the needs of palace and army horse about 700 years ago in Bursa, which has been the capital of the historical Ottoman Empire. TIGEM's KKaracabey Agricultural Farm, which serves at approximately 87,500 decares of area between Karacabey and Mustafakemalpasa districts, also produces vegetables such as wheat, corn, sunflower, canola, clover, silage corn and vet production as well as purebred Arabian horses and also cattle and sheep animal husbandry activities and Kangal and Akbas sheep dogs breeding are also carried out. While the Arabian horses are being grown by TIGEM today in the large area where the horses are present for centuries, the British horse breeding is being carried out by the Jockey Club of Turkey in the rented section of TGEM, located just across the Bursa-Izmir highway.
