The Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) launched the Ukrainian Amputee Football Championship with the second round tournament taking place Saturday and Sunday. The “League of the Mighty” supports people with amputations or impaired function of one limb promoting a return to active life finding inspiration through sport. In just one year, adaptive football in Ukraine has grown from a few amateur teams into a large-scale national championship featuring 10 teams from all over Ukraine.
