An obsessed collector has revealed how he splashed out more than $19,500 on a life-sized model of a Japanese schoolgirl. The 5ft 2ins high figurine is an exact replica of one of the country's most watched anime and manga characters, Megumi Kato. In her cartoon form, Megumi is a 16-year-old schoolgirl and one of the main characters in a series of books and animations called “Saekano” or “How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend”.
