Where Children Sleep – stories of diverse children around the world, told through portraits and pictures of their bedrooms by James Mollison. This is a selection from the 56 diptychs in the book (Chris Boot November 2010). The book is written and presented for an audience of 9-13 year olds ‘ intended to interest and engage children in the details of the lives of other children around the world, and the social issues affecting them, while also being a serious photographic essay for an adult audience.

These photos have been taken in 2014 but they seem being taken in 1944. It is as if they had been discovered in an old attic, used and damaged...

An orphaned rhesus monkey and white dove that seemed to have lost its mate forged a special bond at the Neilingding Island-Futian National Nature Reserve in China. The monkey was born on the island but had strayed from its mother. The lightest material ever made has been produced by a team of scientists in China, a Chinese university announced.

The winners in the third annual drone photography awards have been announced. Organised by the social network Dronestagram, the competition attracted more than 6,000 entries from amateur and professional drone enthusiasts across the world.
