Aurorae category runner-up: Lone Tree under a Scandinavian Aurora by Tom Archer (UK). The photographer decided to explore the area around the hotel on a very crisp -35C evening in Finnish Lapland. When he found this tree, he decided to wait for the misty conditions to change and could not believe his luck when the sky cleared and the aurora came out in the perfect spot. Archer spent about an hour photographing it before his camera started to lock up because of the harsh conditions, but by then he was happy to call it a night. Foghorn Stringband – Reuben's Train. Foghorn Stringband is an old-time string band from Portland, Oregon, United States. They are considered one of the finest old-time string bands on the West Coast.

바버렛츠 (The Barberettes) – Barbara Ann (Cover of The Beach Boys). The Barberettes is a South Korean retro, doo-wop female group that debuted in 2014 as a trio, and is based in Seoul.

These tiny worlds created in a tiny glass bottle, literally, are the work of Akinobu Izumi. Akinobu uses paper, clay, wax and resin among other materials to create these intricate miniature worlds.

Ray Massey is a London-based photographer who shoots mainly liquids, drinks, hands and still life.
