The first white female Bengal tiger club to be born in captivity has arrived at a zoo in Lima, Peru. The blue eyed cub, who is still to be given a name, is the newest attraction at the Huachipa zoo, located 50km east of the capital city. At just 42 days old she is being cared for around the clock by staff at the zoo rather than by her mother, Press Association reported. The youngster is still being fed milk from a bottle but has also started to be fed meat. The zoo is holding a competition for a member of the public to choose the new arrival's name. The white tiger is a subspecies of the Bengal tiger, which is considered in danger of extinction.
