According to the 35-year-old South Sudanese coach Mario Tual Mingok Chowl, he arrived in Egypt as a refugee in 2017, and in 2020 established a soccer training academy for refugees in Egypt to discover distinguished talents, and to develop the children's skills, as well as to create a suitable sports environment for talented children. There are 84 players in the academy, from South Sudan, Nigeria and from Egypt as well, while the monthly fee for each one is 50 Egyptian pounds (about 1 US Dollar), according to Chowl, adding that they are facing problems of funding their activities. He expressed his dream is to build a distinguished generation that helps develop sport in the region.
