Brave slackliners have been pictured walking the ropes above Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 15, 2016, with the half a mile drop showing the city in all its glory. The stunning shots show the daredevils tread across an eighty-two-foot-long high line on Pedra da Gvea mountain with an amazing sunrise illuminating the city landscape behind. The images were captured by Brazilian photographer Rafael Moura (30) and show how lucky fans and athletes are to be in Rio for this Olympics. The lead up to Rio 2016 has been riddled with problems as fears persist over the Zika virus while ten people were recently arrested on suspicion of planning terrorist attacks during the Olympics.Despite this, Rafael felt the city was ready to welcome the world with open arms. A man climbs up to the top of the Colossuem in Rome, Italy on May 5, 2016. The world-famous colosseum in Rome is once again the site of daredevil bravery. Flavius Vasily, from Kassel,Germany, scrambled over the fence under the cover of darkness to sneak past security. Once inside, he took his own tour of the ancient gladiatorial arena and photographed its majestic beauty at night. Flavius, 23, and a friend only had one shot to make the stunt work - they had a one day layover in Rome before flying on to South Africa and Thailand. (Photo by Flavius Vasily/Caters News Agency)

Pavel Smirnov and his friend ontop of the top of the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge in Istanbul, Turkey on May 17, 2016. Fearless Pavel climbed up to the top of the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge the tallest building in Turkey, and the second tallest bridge in the world. Daring Pavel and his pal dangled precariously over the edge of the 350m high bridge, looking like they were on the edge of the world as they sat high above the clouds. The duo happily risked their lives as they scaled dizzying heights to reach the top of the bridge all so they could snap the ultimate selfie. (Photo by Pavel Smirnov/Caters News Agency)
