Minos, a young male seal that was found on the beach of Sitia in Crete last October, is being treated by qualified staff in the facilities of the Hellenic Society for the Study and Protection of the Monk Seal (Mom), in Spata, some 30km west of Athens, Greece, 15 November 2022. Hermes and Minos, two young seals found separated from their mothers, were taken to Mom's facilities, where they will receive the care of Mom's staff for a few months before being released into their natural environment in one of the protected areas of the Aegean Sea.
