Ice swimmers walk uphill the glacier after they swum in a filled up water kettle in an ice cave inside the Nature Ice Palace, with a hight of 3,250 meters (10,663 feet) above sea level, at Hintertux Glacier near Hintertux, some 480 kilometers (298 miles) western of Vienna, Austria, 29 July 2018. President of the Austrian Ice Swimming Association Josef Koeberl invited members of the Association to spend three days in Hintertux, Tyrol, for ice swim training sessions in a 75 meters long and up to 30 meters deep filled up water kettle at the Nature Ice Palace inside the Hintertux Glacier. The glacier meltwater is at minus 0,2 degrees and the air temperature 25 to 35 meters below the surface between 0 and plus 1 degrees. 400-600 visitors a day attend the dry guided tour through the glacier cave of the Nature Ice Palace, which was discovered by Austrian alpine guide Roman Erler and is owned by Austrian administration of state forests.
