Yazeed Al Rajhi leads the Ultimate class after battling with Nasser Al-Attiyah, while defending champion Carlos Sainz suffered a costly flip and Sébastien Loeb lost time due to mechanical issues. Rookie Toby Price impressed, finishing the day just 16 minutes off the lead. In the Bike class, Daniel Sanders maintained his dominance with another fastest time, keeping the overall lead.
